It is a place within the Kültürpark (fair) in Izmir, which is mostly used as an exhibition area these days. A new art exhibition is held on average within 1-2 months. It is a huge area of 3500 square meters in size. It is one of the frequent destinations of Izmir people who are interested in art.
International textile exhibition. The artists used the traditional material in very diverse way in terms of technic and expression. From political statements to family history or decorative. Give it a shot!
The Atatürk exhibition was very nice. It's a must-see. The Atlas pavilion is right in the middle of the fair. There's a municipality facility at the exit of the exhibition. Food and drinks are available, and the restrooms are nice and clean.
The beautiful Atatürk exhibition and the 🧠Refik Anadol "Machine Dreams; The Aegean and the Perception of Healing" exhibition are must-see exhibitions.
Years ago, I visited Ahmet Güneştekin to see his work. On this visit, I once again saw a variety of unique works by esteemed artists. However, I received no answers to my questions about the works and artists I admired. I believe that in these places, where artists begin with so much effort and creativity, and where artists meet the public, the works and artists should not be left so neglected and unattended.
